IFMIS project was taken up with an objective of implementing Purchasing, Inventory, Payables, Sourcing, General Ledger and I-procurement for 16 entities of Central Government of Kenya. All modules are implemented from scratch.

As part of this exercise, the existing Business processes were studied to understand the current Business requirement. Basically, GoK was looking for a system where they can create a Procurement Plan and Requisitions in the central system and perform rest of the Business process in the State system. Central system and State systems were integrated by developing interfaces.

Automated the Procurement Process for 700 entities by enhancing the processes for creating Procurement Plan through custom-form and work-flow for three levels of approvals of Procurement Plan. Procurement Plans were integrated with Requisitions.

Integrated Budgets with requisitions and Purchase Orders and enabled the WEBADI for uploading Budget Journals.
